Cub Scout Pack 1776 has been a part of Titusville’s history for 75 years. Many of the areas leaders can recall hikes in Washington Crossing State Park, fishing contests in the Delaware-Raritan Canal and trips to other sites around New Jersey. Our Pack has the distinction of having marched in every Titusville Forth-of-July Parade that ever was.
We are chartered by the Hopewell Valley Lions Club who serves the community with pride and distinction.
Most of our cubs attend Bear Tavern Elementary School and this is where many of our Pack Meetings are held. Attending Bear Tavern is not a prerequesite and a few of our cubs are students at area private academys.
Our activities include: the always popular Pinewood Derby, Overnights to various Science and Natural History Museums, our Family Campout, Geocaching and Rocket Launching.
